DIVERSITY IN ACTION
Columbus State fosters a sense of belonging while celebrating what you unique. Our multicultural clubs, organizations, and mentoring programs give you a way to honor your traditions within an inclusive community while sharing them with others.
Columbus State's student body includes individuals from nearly every U.S. state and over 40 countries. More than 50% of our student body represents a minority or underrepresented groups.
Diversity Programs and Services lead campus-wide initiatives that celebrate individuality, nurture student growth, raise awareness, and foster a sense of community for those from diverse ethnic, faith, and cultural backgrounds.
In the latest survey of graduating seniors, such programs contributed to 91% of our graduating class reporting increased respect for diversity and inclusion during their studies.
A key component of these efforts is our Diversity Peer Educator Program, where student leaders promote an inclusive campus by educating and advocating for diversity and inclusion among their peers.
As you broaden your understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures, you'll prepare yourself to make a meaningful impact in your community and beyond.
