GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT & STUDY ABROAD
Expand your world and gain new cultural perspectives through our Center for Global Engagement and study abroad programs!
The Center for Global Engagement offers programs that allow a space for both domestic and international students to exchange experiences and foster community. These programs take place right here on our campuses and will help develop your cultural self-awareness and global competency.
Every academic year, over 250 Columbus State students engage in study abroad programs across 20 countries, including destinations such as Botswana, Costa Rica, Germany, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Quebec, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom and more!
With short-term and semester-long options, you'll earn course credit toward your degree while exploring the world and cultivating skills beyond the classroom. We have the no. 1-funded program in the state of Georgia. Each year, we award an average of $100,000 in scholarships and grants for study abroad programs.
In collaboration with the university's Diversity Programs and Services, you can discover diverse global cultures on campus with the international student community hailing from 40+ countries. Our varied student body and those who've studied abroad share insights and experiences through programs like Global Dialogues, enriching our campus and instilling a global perspective.
